The program combines specialized welding training with related technical and general education courses. This Associate degree program meets the educational requirements necessary to pursue a baccalaureate degree in a variety of welding related careers. Students should contact Counseling or the Welding Staff for career or transfer information.

ENG 111A ,ENG 111B ,ENG 111C , or ENG 111H can be taken in place of ENG 111 - MTH 119W - Intermediate Algebra Credits: 4
- POL 103W - American Politics Credits: 3
POL 105W , POL 212W , POL 215W , POL 220W , POL 221W , POL 223W , POL 225W , POL 228W , HIS 221W , HIS 222W or HIS 237W can be taken in place of POL 103W

Notations
- A Grade of “C” (2.0) or higher is required in CAD 114 , SKMT 111 and all WELD courses.

- WELD 114W and WELD 235W are prerequisites for WELD 220 .

WELD 120 and WELD 122 are offered sequentially in the same semester. It is recommended that these classes are taken in the same semester. WELD 120 is a prerequisite for WELD 122 .
- WELD 114W is a prerequisite for WELD 224W .
- Transfer students may be advised to complete PHY 111 or PHY 211 instead of PHY 101 .
