Focuses on the disease process and nursing care for the patient with ear, eye, integumentary, mental health, gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, and reproductive disease, as well as professional issues. This theory course has a concurrent lab course. For successful completion, a grade of at least a “C” must be earned in this course and its concurrent lab course (lab grade will be same as theory grade).

Outcomes and Objectives

1. Analyze ethical and legal guidelines within the healthcare environment and the potential consequences.

3. Document, integrate and evaluate relevant adult assessment data including pathophysiology, psychosocial and cultural needs.
