Delta College's Instrumentation program prepares students for careers maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting measurement instruments used in various industries to monitor and control processes. These instruments are crucial to ensuring process efficiency, safety, and quality in industries like manufacturing, power generation, and chemical production.
This program ladders directly into the Instrumentation Technology Associate in Applied Science Degree.

Based on our degree and Certificate programs, Delta College can provide employers the theoretical and academic courses necessary to create, update or customize the Related Technical Instruction (RTI) programs required as part of your Apprenticeship Programs. Or to up-grade the skills of your existing workforce.
The combination of related instruction and on-the-job experience is essential in order to provide a complete program to train skilled personnel for the trades. Most of our courses are primarily offered during the evening and the Apprenticeship Office can help you with the scheduling and registration of your apprentices. Since many company apprenticeship programs are registered with the US Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship, it is imperative that the registration of these courses be coordinated by the participating company’s apprenticeship coordinator and the Delta College Apprenticeship Office. All Related Technical Instruction (RTI) is subject to change per agreement with the participating employer and Delta College.
This program is open to all students however this program is company specific program and courses may not be offered every year.
Delta College does not issue a journeyperson’s card and does not provide nor imply placement into employment or an apprenticeship program. Placement in apprenticeship programs is at the discretion of employers. Completing courses at Delta College can improve the chances of getting an apprenticeship.
