Electrician - Advanced Certificate

Program Code: CTA.35901

This program prepares a student with the academic skills required to work as an electrician. The core courses meet or exceed the minimum Related Technical Instruction (RTI) requirements as established by the Electrical Administrative Board of the State of Michigan. The Electrician - Advanced Certificate allows students the opportunity to follow different paths including:

  • A student may seek employment with an electrical contractor, machine builder, as part of a company maintenance team, etc.
  • This program ladders directly into the Electrician-Associate in Applied Science, allowing a student to continue their education.
