The Associate of Applied Science Degree in Alternative Energy: Wind Turbine Technology is a two-year program designes to prepare students for a career in the Wind Industry. Upon graduation in this program you will have acquired the skills necessary to operate, maintain, service, and troubleshoot industrial wind turbines. This is a rapidly growing industry with a high demand for trained individuals. Employment opportunities include: Wind Turbine Technician, Operations Technician, Service and Maintenance Technician.

Notations
- A grade of “C” (2.0) or higher is required in all courses for the degree.
- Student is responsible for equipment, tools, and gear as required. Cost may exceed $200. Equipment for WTT 110 includes all-leather work gloves, OSHA approved safety glasses and safety work boots.
- Students will be responsible for completing a Student Physical Examination Form prior to the first day of WTT 110 class. The examination form can be obtained from a Student Success Advisor or the WTT Program Coordinator
- Due to industry standards related to safety equipment, student weight must not exceed 250 lbs.
