- Determine a patient's disease process by manifestations observed.
- Define the pathology terms associated with disease.
- Define and explain the role of signs and symptoms to pathology diagnosis.
- Identify indications for a radiographic procedure to diagnose pathology.
- List examples of the following causes of disease:

- Describe the difference between acute and chronic disease.
- List examples of both acute and chronic disease.
- Define growth disturbances and tissue disruption.
- Define and explain the additive and degenerative changes radiographically that appear in disease.

- Recognize pathologies associated with each body system.
- Describe the basic manifestations of pathological conditions and their relevance to radiologic procedures.
- Describe imaging procedures and interventional techniques appropriate for the diagnosis of diseases of the following systems:

- Describe the various disease classifications in terms of etiology, types, common sites, signs, symptoms, complications, prognosis, and treatment for each of the following systems:

- Identify various pathological conditions on radiographs
- Successfully read, interpret and organize information and put into written form.
- Identify relevant written sources.
