4. Apply broad principles of sociology and psychology to demonstrate understanding of culture, customs, and practices of the region.
   1. Analyze cross-culturally social issues and human behavior of the region.
   2. Discuss how one's own attitudes, tastes, tolerance, and perspectives affect this experience.
5. Create both an academic journal and an experiential diary reflecting on learning and travel experience.
