Completing the Heavy Duty Diesel (HDD) Service Technology - Advanced Certificate prepares you for an entry-level career as a heavy duty diesel service technician. The certificate program includes fundamentals of the operation and preventive maintenance of heavy duty diesel systems and hands-on training that covers a variety of diesel powered vehicles, engines, and power systems. Students who continue and complete the Associate Degree in Heavy Duty Diesel Service Technology will have a broader based education.

Notations:

A grade of “C” (2.0) or higher is required for all HDD courses for the certificate.
HDD 202 and HDD 206 are Key courses and must be completed within 5 years of completing the certificate. Failure to complete within the stated time frame will require you to repeat the course.
HDD 210 course fee for testing will be at the current ASE rate and is the responsibility of the student.
