Get the training you need to start your career as an entry level welder in manufacturing. Students will learn how to use the SMAW(stick) and GMAW(MIG) weld processes. Skills learned will include fillet and groove welds in the horizontal and vertical positions. Continue your education to the next level with a Welding Engineering Advanced Certificate(9 month program).

Notations
- A grade of “C” (2.0) or higher is required in all courses for the certificate.
- Students with little or no welding experience are recommended to also take WELD 104 (3 credits) with WELD 114W and WELD 235W . Contact Advising to register for more than 18 credits in one semester.
