Plant Based Nutrition - Certificate of Achievement

This certificate is designed to be a two-semester, fully online program through which students will learn the difference between vegan and plant-based nutrition, the impact it has on one's health, the environment, the economy, and how one can transition into a plant-based/vegan lifestyle. This program also explores a variety of diets, and the facts, myths, and research, currently available for each. Finally, this program or individual courses included in the program would increase the body of nutritional knowledge for Personal Training students and Health Fitness Specialist students.

- A grade of “C” (2.0) or better is required for LW and LWT courses.
- LWT 210 or LW 222 is a prerequisite for LWT 213W . If taking in same semester LWT 210 or LW 222 can be taken in the first 7.5 weeks and LWT 213W in the second.
