Prepares and certifies a student as a Basic Emergency Medical Technician. Emphasis is placed on Emergency Medical Care, Medical/Legal/Ethical issues, didactic material including airway management, patient assessment, and general pharmacology.

- You must concurrently register in all four EMS courses in the program (EMS 110 , EMS 111 , EMS 112 and EMS 113 .

- Students that complete this program qualify to sit for the State of Michigan Emergency Medical Technician license exam.
