Notations

A. “B” (3.0) minimum grade is required in all courses for the certificate.

B. The certificate has three required courses: ENG 111 , ENG 113 , and either ENG 213 or ENG 214 . Additional courses are chosen from the approved list of electives to reach the 18 credit minimum for the certificate.

C. Either ENG 213 or ENG 214 is required for this certificate. However, both ENG 213 and ENG 214 can be taken, and in such cases will count towards one required course and one approved elective writing course.
