The program combines specialized welding training with related technical and general education courses. This Associate degree program meets the educational requirements necessary to pursue a baccalaureate degree in a variety of welding related careers. A Grade of “C” (2.0) or higher is required in CAD 114 , SKMT 111 and all WELD courses.

WELD 114W and WELD 235W are prerequisites for WELD 220 .
WELD 120 and WELD 122 are offered sequentially in the same semester. It is recommended that these classes are taken in the same semester. WELD 120 is a prerequisite for WELD 122 .
WELD 114W is a prerequisite for WELD 224W .
Transfer students may be advised to complete PHY 111 or PHY 211 instead of PHY 101 .
