SKET 160 - Fire Alarm and Security Systems

Develops competency in the application of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and its relationship to fire alarm systems as written by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). Emphasizes the discussion of fire alarm and security systems. Discusses data transfer including the use of fiber optics and wireless communications.

Prerequisite(s): SKET 120  with a minimum grade of “C”.
