  1. Demonstrate the safe use of both hand and power carpentry tools.
    1. Demonstrate the safe use and setup of a table saw.

  2. Apply terminology associated with cabinet construction industry.
    1. Design and develop a cabinetry project identifying all joints and components using proper terminology.

    1. Develop a laminate project from design phase to completion.
  4. Plan and build a piece of furniture encompassing production techniques.
    1. Student will design and estimate production type cabinetry:
      1. Create a set of working drawings.
      2. Produce a cut list.
      3. Produce a production list.
      4. Complete a cost estimate.
      5. Build the order.
      6. Finish the order.
