RAD 225W - Clinical Seminar 3Credits: 2 Provides the student with opportunities to enhance the clinical education experience. Emphasizes the correlation of all aspects of radiographic procedures. Includes radiographic image critique.

Outcomes and Objectives
- Produce appropriate documents for assigned topics.
- Research patient records, diagnostic images, radiologist reports/interviews, textbooks, journals, and other appropriate resources.
- Identify relevant information from sources.
- Select important information from appropriate resources.
- Draw relevant conclusions from resources.
- Organize a written outline to interpret appropriate information.
- Present Case Studies
- Utilizing medical images and written research, present case studies on individual patients over assigned topics.
- Discuss a pathological condition relative to your case content.
- Perform radiographic critique
- Evaluate radiographs for:
- proper positioning
- anatomy demonstrated
- proper radiographic technique
- pathology demonstrated
- radiation safety
- Demonstrate understanding of ARRT examination topics.
- Discuss topics concerning Image Production as outlined by the ARRT Specifications
- Image Acquisition and Technical Evaluation
- Equipment Operation and Quality Assurance
- Discuss topics concerning Procedures as outlined by the ARRT Specifications
- Head, Spine and Pelvis
- Thorax and Abdomen
- Extremity Procedures
E. Produce a Study Journal
- Identify areas of weakness concerning ARRT Topics
- Develop a plan for remediation on topics
