Prerequisite(s): MTH 121  or higher with a grade of “C” or better OR instructor permission with previous physics course

Outcomes and Objectives  

  1. Solve general physics problems with mathematics.
    1. Use algebra and trigonometry skills to solve physics problems.
    2. Evaluate quantities and express them in different unit systems.
  2. Demonstrate understanding of the physics of rigid bodies.
    1. Solve 1D and 2D kinematic problems/questions.
    2. Construct and interpret graphs related to motion.
    3. Solve problems/questions using multiple representations including force, energy, linear momentum, angular momentum and conservation laws.
