Outcomes and Objectives - Apply the principles of effective time and life management.
- Define time management.
- Review the effects of event control.
- Identify time robbers and procrastination patterns.
- Identify and define personal values.
- Set short- and long-term goals.
- Examine personal productivity and how it can be maximized.
- Demonstrate the learning of time and life management principles through writing.
- Summarize assigned readings about time and life management.
- React to and apply the strategies in the assigned readings to self.
- Demonstrate an understanding of using a traditional paper planner to develop and improve planning skills and personal productivity.
- Develop daily, monthly, and yearly calendars.
- Create prioritized daily task lists and use forwarding and completion symbols.
- Use supplemental planner tools such as diary and work record pages, expense records, and /or the address book.
- Use a planner to record personal and professional goals and daily activities necessary to accomplish them.
- Demonstrate an understanding of using an electronic calendar.
- Input and access data on an electronic calendar including events and tasks.
- Provide for completion and forwarding of daily tasks.
- Maintain an address book with personal and professional contact information.
- Customize calendar and address book preferences.
