Presents spreadsheet features using accounting applications. Emphasizes features and techniques to develop solutions to spreadsheet and accounting problems that focus on developing data analytic skills. Spreadsheet skills include report formatting, tables, pivots, look ups and macros. Introduces a business analytics tool to create interactive data visualization.

1. Demonstrate the use of electronic spreadsheets' basic concepts.
A. Use the features for entering values, labels, and formulas.
B. Use the basic “built-in-functions.”
C. Discuss the terminology of electronic spreadsheets.
2. Demonstrate electronic spreadsheets’ advanced features.
A. Create and use named ranges.
B. Differentiate between worksheet protection and locked cell properties.
C. Effectively use various formatting options.
D. Demonstrate the basic concepts of relating presentation graphics to sets of numbers.
E. Create and manage charts on a worksheet.
3. Use Advanced Functions to aide in Data Analysis.
A. Formulate advanced formulas using a variety of functions, including but not limited to, logical, financial, text, and lookup functions to solve accounting problems.
B. Perform a variety of what-if analyses.
C. Use PivotTables and Pivot Charts.
D. Create macros in applications.
E. Manage data from multiple worksheets and workbooks.
F. Import and manage data from external sources.
4. Apply Spreadsheet operations to solve accounting problems or reporting.
