  1. Use feminist analysis to assess the domestic and international social, economic, and political environment.
    1. Describe the role of patriarchy.
    2. Assess the concept of the universality of the oppression of women.
    3. Describe and evaluate the cultural basis of sexual role differentiation.
    4. Describe and evaluate the meaning of masculinity and femininity.
  2. Describe and evaluate the various strains of feminist critique.
    1. Define feminism and delineate its scope.
    2. Define, give examples of, and evaluate: Cultural feminism, Radical feminism, Bourgeois feminism, Marxist feminism.
    3. Describe and assess the role of lesbianism and the woman-identified woman in feminism.
