AAS.15895

Delta College and Michigan State University (MSU) have joined efforts to offer regionally relevant agricultural training programs for careers in some of Michigan's highest demand industries. Students will benefit from dual enrollment at both institutions with all courses delivered in the Great Lakes Bay Region.

This unique partnership allows students to earn a certificate from the MSU Institute of Agricultural Technology (IAT) while working toward an associate degree from Delta College. Students will be able to complete the associate degree and certificate in just two years and financial aid is available to help with tuition expenses at both schools.

By working together, Delta College and MSU are able to offer these specialized training programs for high-demand jobs close to home and at a lower overall cost. Graduates will be prepared for rewarding job opportunities in agriculture or transfer to continue their education.

Apply for dual enrollment at both Delta College and Michigan State University. The agricultural training programs provide practical training for rewarding careers in production agriculture. Students will take courses related to plant and soil sciences, precision agriculture, pest management, plant disease, farm management, and more. You’ll gain professional experience through a required internship.

Graduates will be ready to seek employment in agricultural management/business, science and maintenance/operations fields.
